In today’s world, compassion and spiritual guidance are increasingly precious. And the impact of faithful service to others is felt among countless individuals.

As a leader in your faith, you’re perfectly positioned to make such an impact on a global scale – as a Chaplain and Officer in the U.S. Navy.

AN EXCEPTIONAL JOURNEY. AN OUTSTANDING CAREER.

You’ll thrive in your service to young men and women – Sailors and Marines – eager for your guidance and yearning for a moral anchor in turbulent times. These high-profile responsibilities are what make the Navy Chaplain Corps respected and admired. As a Navy Chaplain, you’ll:

• Conduct worship services in a variety of settings around the world
• Perform religious rites and ceremonies, such as weddings and funeral services
• Counsel motivated individuals who seek your guidance
• Provide spiritual support and care visiting hospitalized personnel and/or their family members
• Oversee religious education programs, such as Sunday school and youth groups
• Train lay leaders who conduct religious education programs
• Promote attendance at religious services, retreats and conferences

SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS – AND TANGIBLE BENEFITS

In addition to the satisfaction of serving God, country and your fellow man, you’ll enjoy a wealth of other benefits as an Officer in the Navy:

• Competitive compensation
• Full medical coverage and care in Navy or civilian facilities
• Full dental coverage and care from Navy professionals
• Low-cost travel
• 30 days’ vacation with pay earned every year
• Generous educational assistance and loans
• Low-cost life insurance
• Opportunities to earn advanced degrees at Navy expense
• Use of Officers’ clubs around the world

YOU HAVE THE PASSION. MAKE IT YOUR MISSION.

There’s a place for you in the Navy Chaplain Corps. The Navy accepts clergy from more than 100 denominations and faith groups. As a spiritual guide for a large and diverse group of Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, and their families, you’ll gain unique experience and keen insight found nowhere else. In short, you’ll be exceptionally prepared for lifelong success in your career as an ambassador of God. APPLY NOW at
