Job Title: School Administrator
Summary:
Waupaca Christian Academy, in Waupaca, WI, is looking for a School Administrator. The Administrator is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and spiritual direction of the school in accordance with Christian values and educational principles. This individual will provide visionary leadership, foster a Christ-centered learning environment, and collaborate with school leadership, faculty, staff, parents, and the broader community to ensure academic excellence, spiritual growth, and long-term success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day school operations, including administrative systems and facilities.
- Assist with budget planning, financial management and compliance.
- Own the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
- Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development and academic oversight.
- Oversee standardized testing and assessment processes.
- Maintain school accreditation and process improvements.
- Manage student enrollment processes and maintain student records.
- Coordinate internal and external communication efforts and event planning.
- Execute Annual Fundraising Strategy and Goals.
- Develop and update school policies, processes, and ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with the Wisconsin Private School Choice Program.
- Foster positive community engagement with parents, students, alumni, and the wider Waupaca community.
- Be the “face of the organization” and a light for Christ in the area.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Christian Studies, or related field is required. (Master's degree preferred).
- AACS Teaching certification required or the ability to obtain.
- Wisconsin Private School Choice Program experience is desirable, but not required.
- Christian Faith and Commitment:
- Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Christian values.
- Active member of a Christian church or faith community.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven leadership experience in an educational or Christian setting.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Educational Vision:
- A deep commitment to providing quality Christian education and fostering spiritual growth in students.
